So. Last Saturday I went to hang out with a colleague who I rarely see at work,
and his girlfriend, and also another one of my colleagues who just joined the company.
I've always thought I wouldn't hang out with a colleague on weekends after being with them for nearly 12 hours daily...
I don't really know what it was that tempted me to say 'yes' to their suggestions...
(lol this makes me sound like a super-introverted person).
But let me just say, the day was awesome.
We ended up spending 8 hours or so together, starting with wandering though a comic-con (haha)and then later joining a gallery opening reception/party of an artist in downtown NY area(the new colleague's connection.).
That was the most social time so far I spent with any of my colleagues outside of the office.
...After being here for over a year...!
I'm really, extremely shy when it comes to meeting new people or
being around people I rarely know, but I guess I just have to kick my own butt and shake more hands.
On less 'social' topic... I've been drawing for a bit so I'll post them here.
As a sign that I'm alive and am not lost...!
Danger means GO.
FULL...I surprised my self when I realized I was drawing driver's seat on the left side without thinking.
....I've been in this country for a long time. lol.
A Tune for Yozakura(evening cherry blossoms.).
FULL...The model is Shinsaku Takasugi. *cough*. my favorite 'black sheep' samurai guy.
And I have a feeling I drew something similar before.
