Weekend walk

Feb 24, 2008 19:24

Since the weather was really nice today,
I decided to go to the nearest Zoo (Queens Zoo/Wild life conservationCenter)....alone (lol).
This zoo wasn't too spacious and there weren't any 'major' animals like lions,
but they had endangered species of the Unites States.
The sad part of 'endangered' is that,  our (human) needs are the main cause of the situation.
I feel that we take from animals more than we give them.
They are always the ones that are trying to adjust.
...Well, I'm probably not in the place to say it like that as I do what everone else in
'technologically advanced societies' do in order to live everyday.
But i want to keep thinking of how I can help to keep animals from dissapearing.
After all I'd hate to think of birdless sky or empty vast fields.  The world won't be as fun, i bet.

This guy here is a domesticated lama.  I like his expression, so here.

ANYWAYS aside from that, I decided to walk around Flushing Meadows Corona Park (where the zoo is).
And I took some random pictures so here.

the famous tennis stadium.

I first became aware of this after Men in Black movie.

The globe description.

...Bha...
Can't write anything interesting ...lol.
Well the point of the entry was really simple--
that I like to go out randomly to some random places on weekends freely by myself.
I walked.  A lot.  Today.  BTW.

thought, random, animals, real life
