I wore the mask (er, this kind) to work today, and as I walked down the streets, people kept staring at my mouth area with blank gazes as they walked by. That's when it hit me-wait, so, this mask,has not been familiarized in the US? I've been living here for ages and yet sometimes I still encounter cultural gaps.
...Either that, or I'm not paying enough attention to the world as I day dream most of the time.
