Yard Duty.
I did a little researching, and found out students are actually meant to clean the school after school! HAH!
Let me repeat that in case you didn't quite catch it. The students...are meant to clean the hallways and classrooms...after school.
I KID YOU NOT!
And yet here i am working my ass off for no reason. I also found out that some schools in the West have what is known as "Yard Duty." Now...there's three versions of this.
A.) 20 minutes or so each week is dedicated to the whole school cleaning up.
B.) Each day a group of three or four students skip their classes and spend the whole day picking up rubbish and cleaning. This goes through the whole school until every person has had a day of it.
C.) Punishment. Get in trouble? Spend lunch time with me! Hah! I'm sure some of you know how terrible that is, Right Waka?
Really, what's the point of this? I haven't gotten any information yet. i hardly SEE any students at all! How are we meant to be advantaging over 'em if i don't even see them?
I feel like some jerks stuck a note on my back saying "Hi! Im Urashima! Feel free to use me as you wish!"
I'm going to enforce one of the above tactics, hopefully if the students are annoyed and complaining, i can listen in on something.
Come on guys, really, i smell and look like ive been swimming in Makintaro's cooking.
