Happy Halloween Zombie Fever Part Two
Greetings! Happy Halloween! May the spirits of your ancestors that visit tonight be plesant and none too spooky. I plan on leaving out a bowl of sweets to please what ever ghost visits tonight: since no trick or treaters walk these streets. I plan on treating myself to a six hour live Ghost Hunters investigating at Pennhurst Asylum. Hopefully they will have lots of spooks visit them for the camera to capture. I have my B-52's chilled and ready to drink while the fun plays out on tv.
After that tomorrow I will go hunting for my Thanksgiving day turkey. And by turkey, I mean a pepper encrusted deli thick cut sandwich meat for my traditional Thanksgiving day sandwich. hehe And oh yes, there WILL be pie! Sweet potato and pumkin pie.
Zombie Fever Part Two. I just watched that show The Walking Dead. (Spoiler Alert) The character Shane hurt his leg as a horde of zombies are chasing him and a fat guy. Shane shoots the fat guy in the leg so he can't run, giving them zombies something to play with and stop chasing him as Shane runs away. That made me laugh as I remember my days playing Call of Cthulhu and the infamous maxium: I don't have to outrun that star spawn beastie, I just have to outrun YOU! *trips a tasty fellow investigator and runs away* The running joke was you could always tell and ixperienced investigator cause he could beat an Olympic spinter in a race! A slow investigator was always nicknamed 'Monster-Chow'. And while we ran away, we tended to sing that song from Monty Python, "Brave Sir Robin" Brave Sir Robin bravely ran away, he bravely ran away." That one.
