Dance
Yesterday Shae and I went to Misha's to go to a Friday night dance. We played this letter initial game thing that I finally won once today. Misha and I were reading French Harry Potter and looking up words. Here are some of them:
Hogwarts - Poulard
Gryffindor - Gryffondor
Slytherin - Serpentard
Hufflepuff - Poufsouffle
Hiss - Siffle
There were more too I just forget.
The dance was fun. The "Hoohah" dance was so fast! It was fun even though I basically just ran. I love the music of Opinca. Also that French dance was fun. Oh our quartet is invited to play at the next dance. So is Alex. (She'll never go though.)
The next morning after Melissa left Michaela and I played English songs on piano and violin. They all had weird names. I forget the name of the one that I really liked...
Quartet was good...yeah I forget if anything interesting happened... Eli couldn't come--auditions and recital. Oh yeah we made this song involving cars crashing and sirens...all because Quincy was playing a glissando and it sort of sounded like the doppler effect.
Oh yeah my parents said I could go to both fiddle camp and Pinewoods. As long as I can get the forms and fill them out.
Misha and I want to learn Hungarian now. Just to read Harry Potter. Their word for Slytherin is awesome! "Mardekàr" - it means "it bites, what a pity."
I wonder if there was "devine intervention" in Jeremy's Berkley audition Saturday...
