Grr so midterms come around and I must be stressed or something because now I have a cold. I decided to get some sleep to facilitate rapid recovery before midterms and skipped my 8:30 am calculus class ( Read more... )

Wow, you actually skipped Calc.. I'm somewhat shocked.

Actually, vitamin c helping colds is a placebo.

Why shocked? I was sick. I skipped school plenty of times when I was sick in the past!

It is? Aw... well, it works for me. I don't care if that is true that Vit C's a placebo.

I was shocked-ish because I thought Calc was your favorite class.. And you didn't skip school that much, more a class or two that I can remember.

Of course: the placebo effect is a strong effect. I'm betting on good sleep for this one though.
I was happy to find this out, actually, because Airborne tastes disgusting! (I bet you I will still take it on planes though . . . =_=)

My favorite class is psychology!!! Professor Levitin!!!

I only skip if I'm sick, making up work, or really don't feel like going. Or if I forget to go. I always forget about tutorials. I think in high school I missed entire days about once a month or so and individual classes . . . not as much as I used to since I was in good classes and no Dr. K, but when there was a sub yes. However I was dismissed a lot between appointments and stupid Epstein Barr =_= grrrrrr.

I usually don't like missing classes because it means missing work. However, calculus I can miss without too much making up to do since technically I've taken the course already.
