I'm liking this show. I'm coming to terms with the whole Persona thing, but it still sort of pisses me off how there are no evokers. Ryo points (with his finger) to get his Persona out =.=''' yeah.. of course that's totally cool and badass..

By reading blogs & other journals, I noticed that Trinity Soul is a lot more confusing (and seemingly pointless) for people who haven't played the game, since the way the story is being told isn't that clear. Unfortunately it doesn't have the exact same atmosphere P3 has, which is a lot more dark and mysterious. The anime attempts at it but it's not really there.

There's even more vg music in this episode, for ex. when they go to karaoke, they play the Paulownia Mall BGM.

I'm also convinced now that Akihiko is the confidant Ryo is speaking to on the phone. I wonder when they'll reveal all the characters. This takes place 10 years after the end of the game, so everyone should look older (hopefully not too different)

I don't have a favorite character yet, but at the same time, surprisingly I don't hate or dislike anyone, either. The girl characters are pretty good and not as annoying as Yukari. :D

Also I decided the ED theme by Kitade Nana is wonderful. I'll feature it in the 11th music rotation, which should be out by the end of the month.

That line: Ikanaide yo.. kowarechau kara (Don't leave me.. I'd fall to pieces) is so amazing.

I still like the manga better but this is a great adaptation. You have to accept that there are just some elements of manga that can never be transferred to a drama version. The two leads are very likeable.. I like Takahashi Mai enough to check her next drama and I'm surprised I've never seen Shioya Shun around before. He's in Pacchigi! and Robo Rock with Okada Masaki, neither of which have been subbed yet.. they've been on my to-watch list for a long time.

Up to episode 6 has been subbed & uploaded on jdramas so I'll get to downloading & watching them soon.

Give the manga a read. It's a lot more cracktastic, which is good if you like crack.
