Sorry I'm about a week late with the report. I only included full profiles for things I'm sure I'll be watching. The rest I commented on pretty quickly. This covers all of the fall season anime minus some OVA and stuff that didn't interest me.
Things to note:
-If a specific date has not been scheduled for the first ep, it will just read "October 2007"
-I openly bash harem anime and boring girl characters
-Official trailers, themes, complete seiyuu cast, and even summaries are not yet available for some series
-I'm purposely harsh on a lot of these. It's easier to be harsh than to praise something too much and then see it turn into complete crapola.

CGI scares the crap out of me, so the dragons in the trailer are -vomit- I quote what someone on Youtube said: "Replace the dragons with Gundams, and you get Gundam SEED" As generic as this looks, I always check the first episode out for everything because sometimes it turns out the atmosphere is much different from what you were expecting. The ecchi isn't doing anything for me, though.

I'm a big fan of this genre so of course I'm looking forward to this. However the problem with this genre is that it's usually slow-paced or there's not enough incentive to keep people watching (this was the case for some series like 地獄少女/Jigoku Shoujo and ゴーストハント/Ghost Hunt). However the director (Masamune Shirow) is the same one who did 攻殻機動隊/Ghost in the Shell so the atmosphere is already quite different from the rest.

However, not all countries are able to enjoy the benefits of this system, leading to widespread resentment and war. Arising out of the conflict, a mysterious non-profit military organization known as Celestial Being appears, dedicated to end all warfare using Mobile Suits called Gundam. This begins the stories of Gundam Meisters (pilots) Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde as they are thrown into conflict between the 3 superpowers and the other various factions.

We've all been talking about this already because close to 80% of the anime fandom follows the Gundam series which will still be here when we're all 60 years old. It's just natural. All I have to say is that Setsuna looks like Ritsuka (from Loveless) and I'm super excited for the first ep.

I've never had a good history with these type of storylines. I remember the last one I watched that had a similar concept.. that annoying one with the two sisters living in that apartment. gawd. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I keep thinking あさっての方向/Asatte no Houkou but that's not it.. (even though Asatte is also a badly done slice of life). [comes back 10 minutes later] aha, I figured it out, it was 貧乏姉妹物語/Binbou Shimai Monogatari. It had the same comedy/slice of life storyline involving sisters. Absolutely terrible, I felt like my brain cells were dying. Anyway that video I linked you to makes it seem like this won't be as mind-numbing and actually more upbeat & fun. You know in general, I can't watch anime like Azumanga Daioh, Strawberry Marshmallow, Lucky Star, etc. out of the blue, I have to be in the mood for it. Otherwise my brain goes dead.

Shakugan no Shana II: I think we're all pretty much going to watch the first ep so no need to comment further.
Bamboo Blade: Sports manga about KENDO! wow. This would be infinitely better if it had guys on the kendo team. But it doesn't. Eh, I'll still give it a shot for the kendo.
CLANNAD: Air was good but, I hate the art style. I thought the movie was a little better, but still not good enough. I didn't even give KANON 2007 a chance. I don't think I'm giving CLANNAD one, either. ~Rejected~
Blue Drop ~Tenshi-tachi no Gikyoku~: Alienz girl from outerspace. People are saying this is going to be a good one but I just can't see it. I don't know, maybe I'll end up liking it. The brunette girl bores me already, maybe that alien girl will be kickass and exciting in some way.
Kodomo no Jikan: Holy f*ck. This series is lolicon. A 23-year-old school teacher with his 2nd grade students. WHAT THE F*CK =STABS EYES= NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every anime blogger I know is staying away from this with a 120 foot pole. (LJ is going to get you~~)
Sketchbook ~full color’s~: Another slice of life/school thing centered around female chars. Let's say it together: Booooooringggg
Myself; Yourself: Harem with 2 guy characters? I'm trying to remember the last one I watched with two guys. Are they going to compete for the girls or something? I don't get it. Maybe they'll be slashable. I think 2 of the girl characters look likeable so I might watch this. Hopefully this won't be a grave mistake.
Jyushin Enbu -Heros Tales-: Sakupyon is going to be in this, but I dunno, it doesn't look cool enough, and historical shounen haven't been impressing me lately. But it's shounen, and I always give shounen a try. OVER 9000!
ef -a tale of memories: Another harem, I don't even want to talk about it. The main char guy draws shoujo manga. That's nice. =_='
Kimikiss pure rouge: Another one of those anime based on dating sims for guys. Geez, the girl looks so boring, I wonder how guys would even want to date her?
Strait Jacket OAV: 3-episode OVA series. When I first saw the OHP, I thought, "Don't tell me this is a reincarnation of Samurai Gun" (I'm not even kidding, look at the design for that thing, it looks like Samurai Gun!!) The trailer looks ok
Ichigo Ichie - Koibana Tomobana: One of those 5-minute shorts (like Gyagu Manga Biyori & Legend of DUO) After a trailer comes out I'll decide if it's funny or not.

Adapted from the manga. This worried me at first since it is yet another slice of life story about sisters but it actually has the horror element included in the plot. Now this could be interesting. Unforunately it's not horror-centric, but I think the element will be enough to make this worth watching.

Shakugan no Shana II: I think we're all pretty much going to watch the first ep so no need to comment further.
Bamboo Blade: Sports manga about KENDO! wow. This would be infinitely better if it had guys on the kendo team. But it doesn't. Eh, I'll still give it a shot for the kendo.
CLANNAD: Air was good but, I hate the art style. I thought the movie was a little better, but still not good enough. I didn't even give KANON 2007 a chance. I don't think I'm giving CLANNAD one, either. ~Rejected~
Blue Drop ~Tenshi-tachi no Gikyoku~: Alienz girl from outerspace. People are saying this is going to be a good one but I just can't see it. I don't know, maybe I'll end up liking it. The brunette girl bores me already, maybe that alien girl will be kickass and exciting in some way.
Kodomo no Jikan: Holy f*ck. This series is lolicon. A 23-year-old school teacher with his 2nd grade students. WHAT THE F*CK =STABS EYES= NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every anime blogger I know is staying away from this with a 120 foot pole. (LJ is going to get you~~)
Sketchbook ~full color’s~: Another slice of life/school thing centered around female chars. Let's say it together: Booooooringggg
Myself; Yourself: Harem with 2 guy characters? I'm trying to remember the last one I watched with two guys. Are they going to compete for the girls or something? I don't get it. Maybe they'll be slashable. I think 2 of the girl characters look likeable so I might watch this. Hopefully this won't be a grave mistake.
Jyushin Enbu -Heros Tales-: Sakupyon is going to be in this, but I dunno, it doesn't look cool enough, and historical shounen haven't been impressing me lately. But it's shounen, and I always give shounen a try. OVER 9000!
ef -a tale of memories: Another harem, I don't even want to talk about it. The main char guy draws shoujo manga. That's nice. =_='
Kimikiss pure rouge: Another one of those anime based on dating sims for guys. Geez, the girl looks so boring, I wonder how guys would even want to date her?
Strait Jacket OAV: 3-episode OVA series. When I first saw the OHP, I thought, "Don't tell me this is a reincarnation of Samurai Gun" (I'm not even kidding, look at the design for that thing, it looks like Samurai Gun!!) The trailer looks ok
Ichigo Ichie - Koibana Tomobana: One of those 5-minute shorts (like Gyagu Manga Biyori & Legend of DUO) After a trailer comes out I'll decide if it's funny or not.
Can't find info yet on: Kawaii Genie, Shion no Ou, Yumedamaya Kidan
