Boston
I'm amazed how much I've been 'quietly impacted' by today's events at the Boston Marathon. The bombs went off within 4 blocks of where I used to live when I was at Berklee. While these events didn't "stop the world" the way 911 did, it stopped my world, 3000 miles away. I keep trying to see "exactly" where the bombs went off...trying to connect more to the city I once lived. I've had meetings today, and I've done my job without stuttering. But every moment I sat down or had some time on my own, my thoughts return to Boston. A city I have always been proud to have lived in and been a part of. My heart and my love goes out to Boston. I know your strength will get you through.
