The end is near...YAY!
Life is both really busy and calm, a strange combination. I submitted my dissertation to my committee on March 8th. It was a bit of a rush doing all the formatting changes, writing the abstract, intro and conclusion (for the combination of the three papers, each individual paper already had an abstract, etc.). But it was all finished in time. I expect the committee to give me feedback very soon, if not later today. (Which means I'm constantly checking my email.) I defend March 26th.... a week from today.
In the meantime, I spent a lot of time working on the Etsy paper which got another R&R from Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice journal. (THE top journal in entrepreneurship.) So I'm happy there. Otherwise, I'm getting getting the house ready for both Kate's move and the "big" move. Kate leaves a week from Sunday and I move from Pullman May 25th. The plan is still to move to Michigan for a few months, catch up with friends & family, check out/buy a house in Normal/Bloomington, and then move to Illinois sometime around the end of July/early August.
