Patience
The official countdown has started, though the number of days before I get home isn't clear yet.
My boss walked up to me today, saying I could leave a day early if I wanted, we could have my goodbye-thing (whatever that meant) on Thursday. It would be great to go home early, since I'd be able to go to Leuven myself to hand in both my thesis and my internship paper. I'd feel a lot better doing it myself anyway.
Plus, I'd have three days for studying for my German exam instead of just one. I called mum and explained everything to her, she said she'd think it over and call me tonight. She seemed to understand, though, so I might actually be home before the weekend. I'm kinda happy about that. It'll be good to be home for a while.
Herr Diekmann aka the CEO of UKW, the company with subsidiaries in Koblenz and Hong Kong, wasn't there back at the office yet, but Tanja would make sure to call him tomorrow. How I wish I could be sure I'd actually SLEEP tonight. *sigh*
Work's being a bore, I have to explain every excel sheet I've made during my stay, which feels like half a million, so people will understand what it all means and can continu working with my data. It got a "Great idea!" from my supervisor. Me and my big mouth.
I posted the first two chapters of my Cordelia/Faith fic to
passion_perfect. I have someone who is intrigued, so I get to post more tomorrow. Wehey.
Btw, this whole I-m-gonna-be-freaking-hot-and-at-the-same-time-give-you-the-feeling-it-s-going-to-storm-any-minute type weather REALLY isn't my thing. Baking every day at 31°C... *sigh*
