Ebrahim and i decided to go to ravagh persian grill again.

we had a kobideh kabob. let me make u aware that this sucker isn't like a shish kabob....um, in fact it's a little shocking when u see it, but it's really god. and the sumac seasoning, especially n rice....wow. just...wow. we then heard music outside, seemingly competing with what was INSIDE. both were interesting and lovely persian pop music (which i'm nw really curious to listen to more).

little did we know until we stepped oiutside there was an iranian parade going on a little further down the street.

ebby says to me he forgot that it was nowruz - the iranian new year. frankly my favourite bits were the musics and the bit with the iranian guys doing some kind of traditional game which may have been zurkhaneh, but i'm not sure. it was fantastic fun anyway. i was happy to learn aboout his culture a bit and enjoy the parade.



in 2 weeks, there will be a sikh day parade, so i can teach ebby abut sikhs even more.
