Questions from
theotherdibbler 1) What is your favourite colour, and has that always been your favourite colour?
Current favourite colour is blue, and it hasn't always been. According to family (who know these sorts of embarassing stories), I adored green as a preschooler, to the point where at Halloween I'd trade for the disgusting lollipops because they were green. More recently it was purple.
2) Please explain one random connection you make between two unrelated things (eg. a song that always makes you think of ice-cream because you were eating ice-cream when you first heard it or something).
The phrase "It rose from the shadows" (and varients, like deeps) makes me think of the kraken, which makes me think of the line from Good Omens, which always makes me mutter, "And a thousand sushi dinners cried out for vengeance." This tends to get me funny looks, especially at work. Whoops.
3) How are you wearing your hair today?
I am currently wearing it in a layered bob and down because I chopped it all off three days ago and can't pull it back anymore.
4) Name one favourite book, TV show, song or movie from your childhood you can still quote parts from.
Good Omens. I read it for the first time in sixth grade and I probably should not admit how many times I've read it and how much of it I can quote without a recent reading. I <3 that book so much.
5) Have you ever worn any sort of braces?
I got brackets (braces!lite) three days after Halloween when I was eight. Obviously this made an impression. XD Made a killing hawking my candy to family members since I wasn't allowed to eat Snickers. Had 'em off an on for 6 years after that. I loved the glow in the dark retainer I got, though, which is another point in my weird tally column. <3
