So this weekend thus far has been more eventful than the past few.
Yesterday, I went to Widener to pick up my sister. We got lunch out and shopped a little. Came back home and then I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Shannon. It was good to spend time with her. It made me realize how much I miss her and the rest of my UC folk. So I'm still unsure of whether or not I liked the movie. It was done well, but the changes in the plot were crap, but I guess that's because I enjoyed the books (probably too much).
Today was a good day. I woke up late, after nine for the first time in MONTHS! I ate some breakfast and then read for a good three hours. Took a shower, ate some lunch and the Potato called and asked if I wanted to go to Philadelphia with her. Of course, as I had no plans for the day, I agreed and a little while later, we were in Center City. We walked and shopped around Reading Terminal Market and in Chinatown, where we ate dinner at the Corner Chinese Place (aka Wong Wong Restaurant at the corner of Race and Cherry). Just a little FYI, their Black Bean Chicken is amazing; I highly recommend it. Then we made our way back to the Jerz, for at eight, we were off to RV to see the musical Man of La Mancha. Oh how I LOVE Don Quijote! So the musical wasn't bad. It actually would have made the book bareable (not to mention UNDERSTANDABLE) had I seen it back then. The strangest thing was seeing people I hadn't seen in ages! Pepe and Mr. Connlain! It was good to see them. And Joey too, who is still strange as ever. But obviously in a good way. Then afterwards, we made our way to Wawa for some iced coffee...I didn't get the shakes, Tina! =) While at the Wawa, the cashier girl recongnizes Potato and proceeds to ramble like that caffeinated cheerleader in that phone commercial. WOAH. It was an interesting night, but I enjoyed myself. Hopefully I can make Sunday as exciting.
