Yesterday - was my friend Amy's wedding. It was weird to attend her wedding because she is my FIRST friend TO get married. It was a wonderful service and the reception was fun too. Amy and Dan just radiated happiness and it was just awesome to be able to share their day with them. The DJ was a tool, in a good way, not the "JOE AND DEAN" kind of tool. I swear he'd be Tina's perfect boy...ha. Just wanted to point that out.
So, I got my job in Virginia! I will be moving down there tomorrow and starting work on Tuesday. So this morning was lovely - unpacking my room into suitcases. FANTASTIC time, let me tell you. Then I had to go return a couple of things and purchase some more before I left, so my madre and I went to Burlington and did a lil shopping. Got some BK for lunch and surprisingly it hit the spot. After the lunch break, we headed home and finished up a bit more of the packing. Then my aunt and uncle came to visit with the kiddies, so we played a bit. Then some chores were done: attempting to convince my business law professor that I should be able to finish the class rather than having to drop it half way through and calling my uncle's friend for directions to his house. Did some things and then went to Katelyn's for one last dinner with my "other family." Then Target run, grabbed some Wawa and then back to the Wolfrom residence to wind down a bit. Said bye to them and then headed home to get directions and finish packing (shoes/toiletries/etc...).
It is all so exciting and nervewracking at the same time. I always wanted to move to the DC Metro area and I will be but at the same time, I will be away from all that I really know. The good thing is that Chaz will be there too. We've known one another for ever so at least if I get homesick, I can go visit her or she can come visit me. Also, HennaJenna is down there, so I have two people that I can potentially turn to. I don't think I'll be online too much, so if you have my number, USE IT. If not, email me and hopefully, I can access my email somewhere to answer you back. Now I have to settle in and start looking for an apartment/room to rent...this is all so weird. I'm growing up! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
