we left our little sock empire earlier to run errands..
him in purple & black nylon stripes to just above his knees
me in this mismatch, with the garters showing...
(I only folded them over on the inside to cover the extra length of garter)
did we turn heads? did people stare, you bet they did...
for one thing, guys in stripes is always sure to get an extra glance or more out of the girls
and two different stripes? what's she thinking? she probably thinks she's special
...well, yeah, I do like it when people read slowly to me & show me pictures~:)
If we have at least 40 striped options, imagine the infinite possibilities if you mix & mismatch, you could literally wear nothing but stripes for months & never repeat yourself.
All the nylon stripes stay up nicely with no extra help, some of the cotton ones do also (though I can't gaurantee which ones will). The simple addition of our spanking new sock garters will gaurantee they behave. One of the things I like about this style of garters is that I can toss them in my purse if I'm not sure & easily add them later without having to duck into a changing room. Today I went ahead & paid the extra $ to get the black elastic, I also have some really cool buttons coming~ indigo mother of pearl & clear glass!
I'm sure to find more before I tire of the search...
