Traditionally, you kneel, like so...
*places the teapot down on the table and kneels, sitting with his feet under him and his hands folded in his lap*
However, if this is too uncomfortable, you may cross your legs and sit at ease... do you never do this?

In Prussia and in other parts of Europe, we use chairs. Surely you know what that is!

Of course we have chairs and tables... however, the tea room is very traditional. Would you prefer I set up a more westernized table setting for you?
Though, I was under the impression you wanted to experience Japanese culture....
