[ Personality ] :
Japan is quiet yet hardworking young man. Reserved and polite, he likes to observe nature and draw. He is a bit of a shut-in due to many years of isolation (200 years to be specific), and because of this, he needs time to adjust to new people and environments. But he is very curious and intelligent guy and by nature, is eager to learn about other nations, which hopefully will move onto other worlds.
Normally, he is likely to follow other people’s opinions but in special cases (usually the ones that dishonors him and his countrymen or just plain … stupidity) he can be rather hard-headed and firm. This is probably the reason why he isn’t very friendly with neighboring countries (the more common term “East Asian Brothers”).
Japan also has tendencies of an old man and still holds traditional values very close to his heart. One good example of this would be when North Italy kissed him (… because he is the cheery, happy-going Italian that he is) on the cheek and Japan demanded that Italy take “responsibility”, immediately going into a wife mode. Another thing you should know, he is a die-hard Otaku. He prefers 2D girls instead of 3D and sees life as a sort of RPG. Additionally? He’s a closet-pervert, shhh. (He’ll hide his pron under some innocent looking books.
Japan is surprisingly a glutton. He likes to eat delicious meals, especially that of his home. He got upset when Germany took off his Salmon off the diet when the Axis were training, which is quite unusual for him. He does not easily get upset or angry, as he puts it he can only summon "an unpleasant feeling." However, it is implied that when he gets angry, something very bad will be unleashed.
He does however hate it when his breasts are grabbed. That means you Korea.

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Japan is a technologically forward nation, meaning he is good at making gadgets like computers, as well as handling them. In one strip, after a horrifying car ride with Italy, he improvised the said vehicles to be more safe. He does know some martial arts as he often carried his katana in World War II days, but lets just say his brain power is stronger than his muscles.
As for weakness, he isn't very strong against 'shameless' things. Such as showing affection in public or kissing people. He even slept with Greece but denies that it happened. He is also very gullible, as he is prone to believe what he is taught from other nations. He even believed that Italy was a girl and apologized for thinking "she" was a man during April Fool's Day. He ... also isn't very fit.

It has been a while since I last visited this place .. My arrival was quiet sudden this time as well. It's quite bothersome.
