LOL I have once again risen from the dead and back logged on entries! Hehehe, Internet is down at 'home' or whatever place I'm bumming off right now and I cant be arsed to sit at a Starbucks long enough to steal wi-fi since theres never enough plugs =3=;; and I refuse to buy a bigger external battery - which I'll eventually have to do but psh!
Anyways~ Sept 25th was my Sisters birthday and also X Japan's live! :D chyeah~ LOL
the 24th was my brothers birthday too and we had dinner at buca de pepo, yumyum italian and sooo full~
Cathy was awesome and made an XBOX cake + controller. Pictures to follow~ I mostly shot with my Polaroid cam, and yesh~
I got my sister a Ukelele for her birthday - as per requested. But yeah, will need to send that out, but I wanna keep this more intune with the X Japan entry since I'll be posting this 'publicly' >DDD i'll go into more detail on my friends locked post. hurhurhur. Sorry. scandalous shit will be had >D
SO ANYWAYS
Ticket Master LOST my ticket >:D dundundun~ but I ended up calling ahead days in advance to let them know oh so kindly that they had messed up and lost my ticket and politely informed me to pick it up at Will Call. D': donotwant. LOL.
I think I pretty much got to the venue at 2pm @.@ where the sun was at its peakest and it was just HOOOOT D':
(sorry no full outfit snap coz I fail)
and already when I got there I can already tell people had had lined out outside days before and quite possibly camped out. I wanted to bring a camera but from past experiences at the WIltern Theatre they confiscate anything remotely close to a camera =3= but to my disdain when we got there, they DID allow cameras in there. wtf. So I didnt get alot of pictures of everyones snazzy concert going outfits, though there were a few that just went casual as casual could be. Dont get me wrong, nothing wrong with that but for some reason I cannot comprehend in my mind why would you go to a concert in shorts and flipflops?! D':
iunno, some people just work better that way~ just putting out my 2 cents~
she had a few more other puppets with her but I didnt have enough room
in my cellphone to take pics, I had ordered new lenses and a 4GB memory card
but they never came in on time, but I found out later when I got back to SD that same weekend
that they DID arrive Saturday morning =3=;;
I BARELY missed the mailman LOLz. Fail.
they were quite energetic XD
everyone had signed that poster :D
merch boot - I was sadly disappointed with their merch
D':
no fense but they were kinda gay XDDD
but i ended up getting a shirt anyway just for the heck of it/:
lame designs were still lame.
(but not for loonnnngg~ I'm working on a project with BH to fix that hurhurhur)
I think I was pretty much outside for a good couple hours since they didnt really open the doors till 7pm? kinda lame and so many people were smoking outside the venue @.@ll and my contacts were bothering me so much I ended up having to take them off completely before the concert and walk around with a red eye XD gross~ I event went to CVS to get eye drops for my contacts twice @_@ll suxooors
I met up with a few people while waiting in line :D though~ At 2 I had met up with Leslie and Amorita who both had 'pit' tickets like me so I just went inline with them since I pretty much more or less came to this thing by myself XD with the pretense that I will be bound to run into someone I know at the concert LOLZ~ and surely enough I did! Because dundundun
okanmuri 's sentiments that, perhaps this was one of those bands that you'd never really imagine yourself being able to see at this day and age and I'm just excited to have seen them at the Kodak Theatre, the Nokia Club AND their first US live! O_O I'm stoked to see what more they got to offer :DDD
I was quite giddy all the way home >DD I think I passed out on my friends couch at around 1 or something LOLZ. LEslie and Amorita pretty much more or less just collapsed upon getting there. I was giddy from the energy of the concert and...hehehe the company of the people I was with ^_~
