First off, I had such a fun hang out with my grandma this evening. Earlier in the day, I jumped the fence to the backyard because she wasn't answering the front door and I could hear an intermittent crackling sound coming from back there. Turns out my grandma was sitting on the ground with her legs splayed, surrounded by bags of aluminum cans... cans she was smashing one at a time with a sledge hammer. You go, grandma. She said she had nothing better to do.
So later I went back and we talked. And by "we talked" I mean she talked for two hours about sex change operations, floods and the escaped calligates (alligators!), and her childhood--part of which included watching adults smoke heroin. Who knows.
Before that, I went to the dentist to see about these waves of sometimes excruciating-esque pains in half of my head. He doesnt' know what's up so I'm gonna see an endodontist--a root canal specialist! Because maybe I need to have two root canals re-treated! Ha ha! On the upside, I have antibiotics now. Plus vicodin, which doesn't help, turns out. When the waves o' pain come, they cannot be stopped! They laugh in the face of pain reliever. What I don't like about the waves is sometimes they last kind of a long time. Like the one that started at around 10:30pm and oh hey now it's 3am. I'm actually un-waving right now, so that's fantastic.
Before my grandma ever turned 30, she paid to have all her teeth pulled and got herself some dentures. Perhaps I will follow her footsteps. I know for sure I will follow her in smashing things with sledge hammers to pass the time when I'm 70.
So my trench mouth theory was incorrect. I have some new theories:
1) my teeth are so badly misaligned and I am so jaw clenchy that I pissed off the roots of these two stupid teeth one too many times. (this is the most likely candidate because that is what the dentist guessed, more or less)
2) I have an abscessed tooth and also something is living in my ear.
3) strep throat lives in my devil tooth and escaped into the side of my head this time around.
also, Ol' Drifty, my migrating front tooth is basically on the lam by now, probably also a symptom of the misalignment grindy jaw.
That's it. Boring whining over. Time to ride the euphoria of mild pain off to slumberland.
