So excuse me miss,
But I have to ask you how it is.
You turned some plane old moment into magic,
With just one a kiss.
Upon this dock that I have walked,
So many past moments before.
And you somehow turned the scenery,
Into some sort of allure.
And do I dare continue,
And start to ask myself why?
This moment seems so special,
Beneath the winter solstice sky.
I wish I could explain how it is,
To live within your romance.
As we flirt once more,
As if to dance.
Our fingers intertwined,
As if to never let go.
With trusting eyes,
Beneath the moon’s glow.
And I had to ask you,
Where you’d been.
And why you’ve been absent from my life,
Until just then.
And I have to admit,
I don’t recall your exact reply.
For I was caught in the moment,
With my head high in the sky.
But I remember the feeling,
As we stopped to embrace so tight.
And lived the most romantic plane moment,
On the most romantic plane night.
