dear tara of the diva dirt website,
when i get a google alert for aj styles that directs me to your website, i have little hope of the content being good. however, when i click the link and am presented with this little gem... The Faith Breaker, aka belly to back inverted mat slam, is Michelle McCool’s recently acquired finisher. And while some cry foul at her copying of AJ Styles, I say ‘puh-lease, he didn’t invent the move’. ...i genuinely wonder why people like you are even allowed near a computer, let alone allowed to splooge all over the internet unchecked.
despite the quotes (which i'm sure you thought were really edgy), aj styles DID invent that move. and the first person to recieve it was his brother-in-law. now this information isn't reasily avaliable, i'll grant you, but it's out there and it CAN be found if you bother to look. which lets be honest, it something you SHOULD have done, considering the epic roar of fury coming from the aj fans.
this isn't a simple little fan border war, you stupid woman, this is about a larger company trying to passive-aggressively discredit someone for no good reason. aj turned down a contract with the big guns because he was thoughtful enough to put his wife and kids ahead of his own dreams and it's fairly pathetic that a company as large as the wwe still has butthurt over it. it's even more pathetic that they give one of the most recognised finishers in wrestling to a painfully thin, barely talented diva and try to pass it off as no big thing.
the fact of the matter is this: that move was stolen. and though the pilfering of moves in wrestling is nothing new - and is something that will continue to happen as long as wrestling is around - trying to convince anyone outside of the tight little bubble that is the 'wwe universe' (because god forbid the word 'fans' is used) otherwise, makes you seem like a stupid, gullible mark with delusions of smarkdom.
if your sole defence of mccool is 'but aj didn't invent the move!' then the best that can be said about you is that you at least have the brain power to type. anything past that is being a little optimistic.
