i woke up this morning to find that at least another two inches of snow had fallen during the night. this, as you would expect, is FUCKING GREAT. \o/. the whole town has more or less ground to a halt. our street is still packed end to end with cars, cause no one can get to work, and the school announced an official snow day. naturally, i got dressed and went out in it. and okay, it was more for a geniune purpose than because it's fun, but that's not the point. in some places, the snow was ankle deep, which was AWESOME. the best thing though, was that a family had made a four foot snowman, carrot nose and all, just shy of the middle of the road, and then proceeded to have an epic snowball fight. my little town, guys. if i could smish it, i totally would.
also, my thighs got a fantastic workout going up that hill, but my knees are thinking of filing an official complaint due to misuse.
anyway, the battle plan for this day of snow is to stay in the nice warm living room and stare at figure skaters until it's time for pizza, and then we'll stare at wrestlers. it's a tough life, but somehow, we get through.
