Pen and stamp ink are the weapons ...

... that some Egyptian post office workers have used in their fight for decency (as they see it) - Doings of the Egyptian Post Office (I believe the pictures are from 2009-2010).

After seeing this, some people asked the woman who had received the cards about sending postcards to her in an envelope in future. But she answered (as would I - the stamp and other signs of the postal journey are what make the card fun for me, too):

"I still prefer to get those cards without an envelope, although the only thing I worry about is like Luxi said, that they would not be delivered at all. But so far I don't seem to have that problem :) So actually I consider myself lucky ;)

The scribbles are just a souvenir from the country and the times, they're quite entertaining. My sister and I sit and laugh about them and about the people who must be sitting there doing them. Some cards have gotten by unscribbled in the past, and sometimes they must look really closely to actually realize/notice there is nudity there so I wonder do they really have that much free time per incoming card??

Also it's hilarious that they're really not hiding anything at the end... I think it's probably just a disapproving message from them."
