Dressing down

Oct 07, 2006 14:16

Yesterday was Genes for jeans day, so I was at work in denim. Ah the comfort factor, and all for a good cause :) It's something I've done a few times, originally at school because a good friend's brother had muscular dystrophy. He died age 13, and I've never forgotten the impact that had on all of us. But this is not a dwelling post, it's about clothes!

Today I am wearing my knee length stripey socks from Spitalfield's market, bought last weekend end with
aidansean . He bought a particularly excellent pair of rainbow striped ones, which I think he plans to wear next time he dresses as a nun. Brilliant!

Also, many thanks to Emily-off-my-library-course for bringing this delight to our attention. http://www.targer.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_12/602-8815906-9071801?%5F\encoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000I6LYI8  I think I need one...

PS boiler is broken here so anywhere away from the fire is FREEZING. Must go and defrost again...
