General update
I was going to post all about my fabulous weekend with 
aidansean but he has rather beaten me to it, and I have nothing to add to his long and eloquent post. So go cruise over there if you're bothered ;)
Today is my brother's birthday. A fact which I keep forgetting every time I need to know what the date is. Duh. He is the grand old age of 27. This means I will be going home this weekend for the traditional family tea. This also means I get to see my friend Alice, who got engaged a few days ago. This is wondrous and scary news. I am soo single.

An interesting musing I thought. Interesting also for some of the mofos replying to it. Now I am liberal in my views, and definitely agree with the writer, but to argue that Mohammed is only a 'so called prophet' because most of the population aren't Muslim is just taking the mick surely. I really hate people who turn an argument using an example that isn't properly comparable. I can barely contain my frustration at people either too stupid or too pig-headed to be able to see other points of view, or to accept a point that they disagree with. Although, perhaps by taking issue with this I am in danger of becoming one of them...
