Rally Day has arrived.

My calves are sore because I've been writing on the edge of my seat, perched like a hungry brid.  I was about hovering at 700 or so words in at 8pm, when I talked to Meg briefly.  When I finished talking to her, all the tumblers fell into place.  I had at least five scenes to write.  It was a flurry of madness and giggling, as I began to remember the final stretch of the Novel writing process.  This last bit is always interesting.  It's like when you hit your second wind in a footrace, and you feel like you can run forever.  It's Rally Day.  Last year, I needed Rally day to maintain word goal.  This year, much the same, but... this year was just ridiculous.  I'm basically done with the novel (by which I mean word count for the month... I have another 30k easy for this).  I can probably write the last bit during lunch tomorrow. And it wasn't even constant writing -  I have my lunch made, I ate dinner, I talked to people and was social, and still I had one f the single most productive days of writing Evar.  Probably THE most productive.  It's a fantastic feeling.  Why did I stop, you ask? It was a good place to end it for now, and because I haven't been to bed at midnight in some time, and I would like some motherfucking sleep.  I daresay I've earned it.

SO - without Further Ado.
