Ruki: You raised a hand to her arm? What are you, a necrophiliac?
Uruha: The false information! Where did you send her?
Aoi: She ended up at the Bermuda Triangle. No one would find her there.
Kai: You know, if you were a necrophiliac, I'd keep a distance between us within a 5 block radius. Nothing less.
Reita: That'd be so awkward....Having to perform with someone who has a fetish for dead body parts.
Aoi:... I'd still throw her through the Bermuda Triangle though.
No, Aoi, I can’t be with someone who spends too much time away from me. I love you and I love this thing we have, but I just can’t do this committing thing right now. I’m not doubting you but I can’t trust you either.’ She said, holding back the tears.
Uruha: Then you don't love him! Some friend you are!
Aoi: Y'know. She's kind of right.
All: *Stare in amazement
Aoi: No. I’m serious. The reason I would be spending so much time away from her, is because I'm committed to music more than anything. and/or anyone.
Kai: So she thinks you're a whore because of that.
Aoi: What.
What do you mean you don’t trust me? I don’t think you have any reason not to trust me.’ Aoi said calmly, despite his frustration.
‘Yuu…’ She called him by his real name. ‘Fan girls can be tempting…’
‘But…’ Aoi protested.
Aoi:...
Kai: See?
Ruki: Yes. Fangirls can be tempting. and annoying but there's a thing called self-control.
No, Yuu you don’t understand. I hate thinking what might happen even though I know you wouldn’t. You’re going to be away a lot, but I want you to be away a lot, this is your dream and I want you to chase it, I don’t want to be in the way and I know I will be in the way.’ She was now really struggling to keep the tears away.
Kai: She just...contradicted herself here.
Aoi: *Sings* Away...Awaaaaay...
Ruki: Huh.
Rei, don’t cry…’ Aoi pulled her to him by her upper arm before wrapping his arms around her, hugging her tightly.
‘Aoi…’ She sobbed, burying her face in his chest. He knew exactly what she meant - they’d been discussing it for a while now, since there was talk of the band getting signed. He just didn’t want to end it.
Reita: Wow she cries too much. What does it mean to get signed?
Kai: I had a fan sign on my arm once...It was weird.
‘I mean… just for now… we can always see each other, we can pick this up later when we’re older… I just don’t think…’ Rei sobbed.
‘Rei…’ Aoi only tightened his embrace.
They held each other in silence for a minute until her crying ceased.
Uruha: Thus, starting the beginning of the apocalypse, destroying both time and humanity as we knew it!
Reita: Wiser words have never been spoken.
Aoi: How old am I in this? 12?
Reita: Definitely not as old as you are now.
Aoi: I don't know whether to be offended by that or not.
Reita: You shouldn't be.
You have to move away soon.’ She said.
‘We’ll keep in touch.’ He made a promise, finally agreeing.
‘Really?’ She pulled away slightly, looking up at him.
He had insisted they kept going no matter what, but she knew she wouldn’t be able to stand the lifestyle he was going to enter.
Uruha: Again. Why is she with him?
Ruki: Remember. Slut.
Uruha: Right. wait. I thought that was Aoi.
Kai: Obviously we've seen someone reveal their true colors.
‘Really.’ Aoi smiled sadly. ‘You’re right. I don’t want to trouble you. We can pick this up when I finish… even if that time is when we become wrinkly and old.’
‘I’m so sorry…’ She smiled sadly before he leaned in to kiss her lips.
Aoi: Where's that Bermuda Triangle when you need it?
Ruki: Hey. It doesn't say what kind of relationship They're in. I'm assuming the author wants us to use context clues, but that hopeless right now.
Uruha: It doesn't even say that they're even in a relationship. They could be brother and sister for all we know.
Aoi: Don't ever joke like that Uruha. I can never be related or associated with the MCHMP. It's degrading.
Ruki: Yeah. I'd hate to think of what your kids would look like.
Reita: If they can have kids.
Aoi: All of you shut the hell up. You aren't helpful to me in the least at the moment.
Now stop with the crying.’ He pulled away, smiling still. ‘I hate it when you cry.’
She smiled in return as she let him wipe the tears off her face.
Uruha: With sandpaper!
Kai: That's an idea. A very cruel one by the way.
Uruha: That's nothin' I've thought of way more things than that.
I want you to meet the boys.’ Aoi said. ‘Next week, can you meet us?’
She nodded.
‘Here’s the address.’ Aoi said.
Kai: Hmm Okay. I've figured it out. They are children, because their mentality completely shows It'd range around 12 or 13.
Aoi: So I was right.
Ruki: Hey! Send her to the North Pole...or New Mexico! The Hills Have Eyes!
Aoi: Hell yeah. Nothing like chemically imbalanced mutated inhabitants of caves and hidden Hills preying on ignorant city people. To...eat body parts and break bones and seek revenge because of the government unexplainable events.
Uruha: Couldn't have said it better myself.
Reita: I'm interrupting here, but my god! Is that an EiS?
Ruki: What's an EiS?
Reita: You guys don't see it? Hasn’t anyone ever heard of an EiS?
Aoi: No!
Reita: It's an Ending in Sight!
All: *Bask in the moment*
Ruki: It's so…beautiful!
From that point on they stayed friends. Aoi introduced her to Ruki and the others as a friend.
She’d spend lots of time at the designated place, watching the boys practice, sometimes helping Yune with the drums, Kai after Yune left and Ruki with lyrics. She stayed around long enough until Kai came into the scene replacing Yune.
Ruki: She's everywhere all the freakin time. She's like...time itself.
Kai: That’s a very interesting for you to say.
Ruki: That's because I'm insightful.
She stopped all contacts with them just before Wakaramichi was released in 2002.
All: Good!
It wasn’t a nice time for Aoi. He had to hide his loss from his friends, deal with it alone.
Aoi: Actually, it was a nice time! It was all because of head trauma. Yeah. 'Cause I was riding my motorbike one day, and I didn't see this tractor trailer truck right in front of me-
Kai: How could you not see that?
Uruha: He was probably riding too fast. He's like a speed demon.
Aoi: *Keeps talking* -and the next thing I know, my head collided with the side of the truck. I don't remember how long I was knocked out for-
Ruki: Three days.
Aoi: *Doesn't hear him.* I was stuck in the hospital for three weeks straight. This has always remained a mystery to me, but I can't seem to remember anything from before the time I got hit, and after I saw her that time. Or..other times for that matter. So I went on with my life. The end!
Everyone else: *Stare at him*
Uruha: I never thought a story like that could make so much sense…and not at the same time.
Reita: That was so insightful.
Kai: And Epic.
Ruki: Now I see why it was all nice....the forgetting part I mean.
They were good at pretending it was all okay…
Uruha: Not pretending now! Because it is okay!
Ruki: Yes! Because this damn thing is finally over!
Reita: For no-
Everyone else: *Ignores those words*
Kai: Hey. What happened to Miyavi?
Uruha: Meh.
Aoi: *Hops over the chairs and runs up the aisle while yelling* I don't know about you guys, but I'm going for that Nintendo Wii!
Uruha: *Goes after him* Not without me you're not. You nearly broke it last time!
Reita, Ruki, and Kai:...
Kai: *Turns to Ruki* What in the world did you do to management to put us on probation?
Ruki: I cursed them out for putting us in here the last time.
Reita: Yes. Very colorful imagery of words you used too.
Ruki: *Gets up and storms off* Stupid ass rules.
Kai and Reita: *Stare at each other and leave*
