I am so totally getting Panera today.
My phone's dead. And I'm trying this thing called working today, so I'm not on AIM. Though I am posting to my LJ. Hmm.
I'm only feeling guilty about oversleeping today; it wouldn't have been a big deal but for two things - my co-worker is always ten minutes late (as late as I was today) and the office manager had the first two hours off, thanks to her children and the dentist. So the only one here to answer phones was the assistant director.
Our assistant director is amazing. She's fun, clever, and does most of her own copying, so we get along very well. And I feel like a world class tool for being late, because I know it bugged her. And in the office tradition, Sandy the OM sent out an e-mail warning us to be on time, and Kristin the AM and I keep smiling at each other like nothing happened. It will not be mentioned again unless it becomes a problem, I know.
And as for Nancy the CW, well, she'll be on time tomorrow, I'll bet, and then back to being late. And I know Sandy's getting pissed. So next week could be very interesting.
Anyway, I'm going to Panera for soup and a sandwich. And Christ, am I hungry.
