It isn't much, but it took all year

So I'm doing business development at work, which is tracking down business opportunities and writing proposals. I like the writing part, but the tracking down business opportunities is just something I'm not getting. I know I'll start getting better at it, but it's just...not what I want to do.

I haven't been writing. I keep blaming it on extraneous factors, like my laptop. Which is having problems again, by the way - the power cord I bought is defective and the company that sold it to me is maintaining radio silence. Either way, it's not my laptop's fault I don't write. It's mine. I'm in a rut, of sorts - after about twelve hours between work, commuting, and lunch, by the time I get home I don't want to do anything. Just veg out. I need to stop that. I'm trying to. I'm trying to get active again after work. It's not like I ever get my eight hours anyway, so why worry?
