I think my parents' house is making me sick.
I think the dust and etcetera from my room is aggravating me. I'm considering just throwing everything out, but really, I'm far too materialistic for that.
I saw the Beowulf movie. It was really good. If you're the kind of person who doesn't want to see a change from the poem, then you shouldn't go, because it gets very different about halfway through. In my opinion, it makes it a bit more cohesive of a narrative. If you don't mind that there's sort of an actual narrative that connects the three fights now, then you'll enjoy it. Also, dark ages Nordic blood and guts. It's not a perfect movie, but goddamn, did it make me want to muddle my way through the poem again. Hell, I even want to learn Old English. Be warned, there are so many phallic symbols in this movie, you may need to take a Freudian with you. Oh, and the accents run rampant. Let's just say that I don't foresee a time when I stop saying "I've come to slay your monSTAH."
Jobs are still bleak. Jen's company refuses to talk to me, so I've given up on them. Framingham State College has my information and hasn't started interviewing yet, but I get the feeling they'll actually contact me. And TJX (a corporate office) will get a call a week from today. I have other prospects, of course, but these are my biggest. And then, I guess if I can't get anything, I'll just start temping again.
