I loved these too. The white sands are beautiful, but I would really prefer to have an ocean with all that sand.

Question, dear camping afficionado: Some friends and I are going camping at the end of April. We've camped at most of the campgrounds near Nashville, it seems. Are there any good ones in northern Alabama? We'd like to stay within 2 to 3 hours of Nashville.

my personal favorite back in the day was Buck's Pocket near Guntersville.

hey man. the other day i was talking to helen, cary n. and garrett s. about the days of yore at you and kevin's house. amazing times those were.

i hope you guys are doing well. from the looks of your pictures, you are. let's see if we can't get some people together sometime soon for dinner or something. your baby is going to grow up not knowing her uncle robbie.

brooke took me to the sipsey wilderness when were first dating.
it is about 2 hours northwest of bham.

here's a site about it: http://members.aol.com/sipseywilderness/

if you guys decide to go there, let me know and i can email you directions to a supersweet campsite witha sandy spot and a waterfall and the whole nine yards.
