Advice Needed :)
Hey all! I joined this community last night so wanted to say a quick hello!
I joined because I really need some advice from fellow DS owners/lovers. :)
After a bad day on Friday, I come home and start to play my DS. When done, I shut it down, etc and go to close it when I hear a loud *CRACK*. I paused and was like "wtf was that o_O;", only to notice that the plastic covering one of the hinges decided ot bust -_-;;;
So now, for those who have yet to have this happen, it won't stay closed and has a horrid cracking noise when you open/close it (which to me, just makes me think that it may completly come apart at any time XD)
Anyway...I was wondering what everyones opinion was on the DS housing replacements. If you have one, does it look/feel legit? I have been looking at some online and they all seem pretty good (and there's some neat colors...) however, some of the reviews say that some of the colors look like crap in person (which is why I randomly think the clear case is cool!...I've always had a thing for being able to see inside something lol, even if that may be a bit cheesy?) So far, the colors I like are the clear, navy blue and then there's this sparkly-ish blue, and then I was thinking of mixing and matching some colors...I dunno.... xD;;
So yeah... I was just looking for opinions :)

As a note: my stepdad will be the one replacing it for me, seeing as electronic/computer stuff is his area of expertise.
ETA: At this time I do not have the money to buy a new one or buy a DSi (which, at the current time, I have no interest in anyway ^^;)
