Oh, I didn't get it from Gamestop. I got it at a big retailer because I had a few gift cards lol

I don't think they have an extended warranty available :/

You get a new DS because you want a new one every year or because the one you have has problems?

If you take this route be sure to mention that the DS is broken due to something internal that you absolutely had no control over. If you say you dropped it or make it sound like you had anything to do with how it broke they will not replace it.
