Enjoooy!
Another week had flown past; time ticking away quicker than it felt. It had reached the first of December, which meant twenty five days until Christmas, which also meant that for the upcoming days until then Seoul was going to be a busy, chaotic city.
The snow had started falling heavier as the days went by, covering the bright city in a white blanket, making it look even more beautiful. It was the best time of the year, and it was Jaejoong’s favorite.
“Tis the season to be jolly~ fa la la la la, la la la la.~”
Jaejoong burst into Yunho’s bedroom, skipping over to the window, yanking the curtains open with one pull. The bedroom became brighter, a view of falling snow through the glass.
He jumped onto the younger man’s bed clumsily, sitting himself on top of the fast asleep figures stomach.
He cleared his throat, and sang.
“Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way~.”
Yunho stirred slightly.
“Oh! What fun it is to ride, in a one horse…”
Yunho could hear singing. He could feel something on top of him. The vet opened his eyes, only to look up and find Jaejoong sitting on him, singing away with a bright smile upon his face. Jaejoong grinned at the other man.
“Morning, sleepyhead!”
“M-Morning.” Yunho mumbled, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
“Say…” Jaejoong jumped up off the vet’s stomach. “Where be your decos?”
Yunho lifted himself up into a sitting position, smoothing out his muffled hair. “What’s a deco?”
Jaejoong gave him an intent look. “Decorations, dumbass.”
Yunho stared on with a tired gaze. “Oh.” He yawned. “I don’t have any.”
“WHAT?!”
Yunho flinched at the loud screech emitting from Jaejoong, he lifted his blanket to cuddle into, covering his bare torso to keep himself warm. He knew there was a long speech to come.
“No decorations?!” Jaejoong went on. “Are you crazy? Why wouldn’t you want to decorate your apartment for Christmas? It’s like… tradition!” He swung his arms around as he spoke. “It’s Christmas! You must decorate your place, it…”
Yunho, by now, had tuned out. He found a small speck on the wall in front of him, he tried to concentrate on it, making it look like he wasn’t about to drop off to dreamland again. But it wasn’t working, his eyes fluttering now and then.
“YAH!”
Yunho jerked, clutching the quilt in his hands. Jaejoong glared at him with an ‘I’m not amused!’ look put into it, he looked like a mother who was about to punish her child for doing something naughty.
“You weren’t listening to me, were you?!” Jaejoong huffed. “Men!”
The vet watched as the man left his room, and called out. “But you’re a man too!”
“Whatever!” Jaejoong shouted back. “And put some clothes on, you naked loon! I felt something under that blanket that I shouldn’t be feeling!”
Yunho’s eyes enlarged. He pulled the blanket over his head in embarrassment, hoping he could hide under there for the rest of his life.
“Get a move on!” Came Jaejoong’s loud voice from the kitchen. “We’re going shopping for deccies!”
A big lump in the bed groaned.
*****
Since Yunho had the Saturday off, he and Jaejoong had had an early start with the whole decoration shopping fiasco, as early as ten o’clock. Yunho could have slept in until twelve, but no, Jaejoong was too caught up in the Christmas obsession. As was everyone else.
They had gone from shop to shop, shopping centre to shopping centre, Jaejoong getting all excited about glittery, sparkly, shiny decorations about the place. By the time the clock hit half past two, Yunho had around eight bags of stuff in his hands, and Jaejoong had two.
The vet sighed as he entered the bustling Starbucks café, Jaejoong leading him to a table at the back. He let out a heavy breath as he let the eight shopping bags fall from his hands, plonking himself down on the wooden chair.
Jaejoong giggled, placing his two light bags down delicately next to his chair. “I’ll go order then.” He reached for his wallet inside his jacket. “Sandwich and a coffee, Mr. Jung?”
“Yeah, please.” Yunho smiled, handing out two ten thousand won notes. “And I’m paying.”
Jaejoong rolled his eyes, taking the money from the other man. He’d learnt by now just to let the other man pay for him, or he’d either slip him some money into his pocket or leave it on the bed.
Yunho chuckled quietly as Jaejoong walked to the counter, many eyes fixated on his beautiful figure. Yunho noticed. A young man around his age on the table next to them was watching every move Jaejoong made, the slight sway of the hips and the small flick of his raven black hair, with just that tiny hint of lust in his eyes.
Yunho snarled. “Yah!”
The man jumped a touch, turning around to face Yunho.
“Do you mind.” Yunho glared.
“W-What?” The man felt a shiver run down his spine at the vet’s glare.
“Divert your eyes onto something else other than him!” Yunho growled.
The man gulped. “S-Sorry, sir.”
Yunho turned away, drooping down lower and lower in his chair. What. The. Hell. Was. That? He put his hands to his face, scrunching his eyes together to try and block out the light. He was starting to get another headache.
He knew why he had gotten angry. He was jealous. He had gotten jealous over twenty times that week, he had counted, jealous of other men, and sometimes women eyeing up his friend. He knew why too, he had figured it all out in one week.
He was starting to like Jaejoong. A lot.
Yunho had tried to deny it, telling himself he was just delusional, telling himself Jaejoong wasn’t his type, and telling himself that the other man was way too good for him. But it didn’t work.
Yunho couldn’t help but stare at Jaejoong now and then, noticing his beauty, his laughter, his warm heart. He had never felt this way about any other man before, and he had to admit, it was pretty scary.
He couldn’t forget about the time they had had sex in the back of his car, drunk no less, a big mistake on both sides. But somehow, he wished he could remember what had happened in the back of the car, what he had done, or said. There was only one thing he did remember saying:
“..I think I’m falling for you.”
He was drunk. Maybe he just said it because he wanted to make Jaejoong feel good, or just because he was more drunk than he’d ever been in his lifetime. But now he realized, maybe he had started falling for Jaejoong a long time ago, and only now it hit him.
“Yah.”
Yunho parted his fingers, peeking through them to find Jaejoong sitting in the chair opposite him, tray with sandwiches and coffees on the table. He let his hands drop to his sides, grinning at the other man.
“Sorry.” He cleared his throat. “Was thinking.”
“About what?” Jaejoong asked, sipping on his hot coffee.
“N-nothing.” Yunho mumbled nervously.
The vet sipped on his coffee, thinking hard for a subject to talk about, judging by the look on Jaejoong’s face the man wanted to know exactly what Yunho was thinking about. Then it struck him.
“Jaejoong.” Yunho said, putting down his mug. “I have something I want to tell you.”
Jaejoong took a bite of his sandwich, nodding at Yunho, which meant for him to carry on and say it. Yunho took a deep breath, he was finally going to tell Jaejoong the big news he’d kept in for some days.
“I took up Hyukjae’s offer.”
Jaejoong froze in mid bite. “You what?”
Yunho chuckled. “I’m going to be a full time choreographer at Hyukjae’s studio. I left the vets yesterday, for good.”
Jaejoong threw down his sandwich without care and dived up from his chair, jumping into Yunho’s lap and giving him the biggest hug he could. Yunho was taken back, but hugged the other man back with a smile.
He was kind of glad they were sitting at the back, or else it would have looked like a scene from a drama. Jaejoong squeezed Yunho tight in his arms, and without warning, placed a gentle kiss on the dancer’s rosy cheek.
“I knew you’d find the courage sometime!” Jaejoong smiled, arms still locked around the younger man’s neck.
“Thank you.” Yunho said, hands still placed on the other’s slim waist.
“Well…ah...” Jaejoong laughed tensely. “I’d better get back to eating.”
Yunho chortled uneasily. “Yeah.”
Jaejoong stood up briskly, sitting himself back in his own seat. He took a bite of his sandwich like nothing had happened, while Yunho took a slurp of his coffee, suddenly the atmosphere changed within those two awkward seconds.
“Seriously though.” Jaejoong broke the uneasy silence. “I’m proud of you, Yunho.”
Yunho smiled at Jaejoong sincerely. “Thank you, Jaejoong.”
Yunho inhaled a deep breath; he bravely reached his hand across the table and set his hand down on top of Jaejoong’s smaller hand that was laying on the tabletop. Jaejoong stared at the hand that was on his, and then looked into Yunho’s eyes.
“I owe it all to you, Jaejoong.” Yunho said, becoming serious. “You came into my life not long ago, and you changed it. For the better. I’m finally going to do what I’ve always wanted to do, dance. So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”
Yunho squeezed the other’s hand gently, and took his hand away to rest on his coffee cup. Jaejoong stared at the man across the table, his heart racing for some reason he couldn’t explain.
“Y-You’re welcome.” Jaejoong smiled.
Yunho sent him a smile back before lifting the mug to his lips. For the next hour in the coffee shop the two chatted, laughed, and had fun. Yunho deciding that, yes, he was definitely falling for the beautiful man and he wasn’t afraid to admit it anymore.
*****
“NO! NO! NO! THE OTHER ONE!”
“This?”
“NAH AH! That’s ugly!”
“You serious?”
“Yep. Try the other one.”
“That one looks like a child made it!”
“Yah! My mother made that one!”
“Oh.”
Yoochun sighed heavily, reaching into the big, white box full of Christmas decorations. He put the funny looking angel back on the floor, trying to look for more appropriate decorations for the tree. Something red and gold.
“That teddy looks out of place.”
Yoochun looked up at his boyfriend, who was currently sitting on the sofa comfortably, eating a very big bag of salt and vinegar crisps.
“Which teddy?” Yoochun rolled his eyes. “There’s more than one on the tree.”
“Thach un.” Junsu pointed to the left of the tree, with a mouth full of crisps. “Hez mizzing n oi.”
Yoochun stared at his lover. “He’s missing a huh?”
Junsu swallowed his mouthful. “An eye! He’s missing an eye!”
“Oh.”
Yoochun walked over to the left side of the tree, searching around for a mini teddy bear with one eye missing.
“To the left.” Junsu instructed.
“Where?”
“Little to the left.”
“Where is this bear, Su?”
“No! Now you’re too far behind the tree!”
“What?!”
“Little to the right… now go down… down… further… no… yes! … warmer… warmer… THERE!”
Yoochun sighed in relief, he found the one eyed teddy in between branches that disguised it very well, but he had to admit, it did look quite ugly with the one eye. The writer threw the ugly decoration back into the white box, replacing it with the angel Junsu’s mother had made.
“Waith!” Junsu screeched with his mouth full.
Yoochun sighed. “What now?”
Junsu crunched his eyes. “Move it a little to the right.”
Yoochun rolled his eyes at the pregnant man, moving the small angel to the right. He signaled to his lover if it was right, Junsu chewed on his crisps while putting his thumb up in approval.
“Thank god.” Yoochun mumbled.
“What was that?” Junsu glared at the older man.
Yoochun stiffened. “Nothing, sweetie.”
Junsu carried on glaring, crunching down on his delicious crisps. Yoochun send him a smile, but it didn’t work on Junsu, the pregnant man glared on. Yoochun grabbed the white box and started to look through it again. Pregnant Junsu is scary!
*****
The clock struck seven fifty that night, and Jaejoong and Yunho were absolutely knackered. But it didn’t stop the two from going crazy with the Christmas decorations. They had put up an average sized tree by the corner next to the window, decorated it with red and gold tinsel and small, sparkling ornaments.
Yunho had stuck up some lights on the ceiling around the room, while Jaejoong decorated the book shelf with more lights and tinsel. At nine thirty, the living room looked like Santa’s grotto, lit up with dim lights and sparkling with tinsel. The room had a warm atmosphere, it was cozy and welcoming and much better than it looked without a little decor.
“Finally!” Jaejoong beamed, letting himself fall back onto the sofa. “Your apartment looks good!”
Yunho chuckled, sitting down next to the older man. “Yep. Doesn’t look like a mess anymore.”
“Hmm.” Jaejoong eyed the DVDs sitting beside the television. “Let’s watch a movie!”
“Again?” Yunho laughed.
“Hey~.” Jaejoong poked his tongue of jokingly. “We’ve only ever watched.. Hm… three movies together? Not including Phantom of the Opera!”
Yunho thought for a mere second. “True.”
“SO!” Jaejoong shouted making Yunho flinch, jumping up off the sofa excitedly.
The beauty rummaged through the stack of DVDs next to the screen, trying to pick out something that would be entertaining enough to keep them awake. Then he saw a case that made him quiver. Jaws.
“What’s wrong?” Yunho asked from the sofa, noticing the expression of fear plastered on the other’s face.
Jaejoong pouted cutely, holding out the plastic holder that held the picture of a gigantic shark. Yunho pretended to pout, but let out a laugh at the seriousness of Jaejoong’s look, he didn’t seem to like the film very much.
“What’s so bad about old Jaws?” Yunho asked, taking the film out of the other’s grasp.
“He’s a big, scary loon, that’s what!” Jaejoong screeched. “I hate the dude! And his mother, and his mother’s mother. Poor Flipper too!” Jaejoong thought hard for a moment. “Or was it Free Willy?”
Yunho gazed at the other man in wonder, then he burst out laughing, clutching to his stomach. Jaejoong frowned at the dancer, crossing his arms over his chest like a sulking child who’d dropped his lolly pop.
“What’s so funny?!” Jaejoong asked through pursed lips.
“N-Nothing.” Yunho let out one last chuckle. “It’s just…” Yunho leaned forward, arms resting on his knees. “You’re just so cute sometimes.”
Jaejoong was taken aback by the man’s sudden directness, his doughy eyes opened wide and stared at Yunho. “Err… thanks?”
Yunho chortled charmingly. “You’re welcome.” The dancer slid off the sofa, and kneeled in front of the television. “Now then, let’s put our old friend, the big, scary loon, on.”
Jaejoong watched as Yunho opened the DVD case, pulled out the DVD, and switched on the player. He soon realized what was going on.
“WHAT?!” Jaejoong squealed.
“What?” Yunho repeated, a smile tugging at his lips.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Jaejoong asked, horrified to the point that he was starting to hyperventilate. “YOUR NOT SERIOUSLY THINKING OF WATCHING THAT MOVIE?!”
Yunho stared at Jaejoong, and then said simply. “Yeah.”
“NO!”
Jaejoong dived for Yunho as the man put the disk into the DVD player; he tackled him to the ground, straddling the dancer while holding his hands above his head. He glared down at Yunho, his eyes piercing a hole in the other’s small head.
“Ah…” Yunho gawped at Jaejoong, confused by the man’s fear of a film. “May I ask why you’re not a fan of Jaws?”
“It’s not just Jaws!” Jaejoong cringed at the name, letting go of the other man’s wrists. “It’s all sharks!”
Yunho raised himself up leaning on his elbows, well aware that the man he was falling for was still straddling his lap, he could feel his cheeks burn.
“Er..” Yunho tried to think of something to say, before he’d do something he’d regret. “You don’t like sharks then?” Smart Yunho, very clever.
Jaejoong shook his head, lowering his eyes to the floor. “I’ve been scared of those good for nothing balloon heads since I was five.”
“Ah.” Yunho conjured up a plan. “Well then, I’ll help you get over your fear.”
Before Jaejoong could protest, and before Yunho was seconds away from getting turned on by Jaejoong’s position on his lower area, Yunho had dived forward sending Jaejoong backwards. Yunho pushed the close button on the DVD player, and switched on the TV.
Jaejoong gasped from his uncomfortable position on the floor, watching in horror as the film’s adverts began to play. Yunho stood up with a spring in his step, holding out a hand to the scared singer.
“No way.” Jaejoong glared daggers.
“Come on, Jaejoong.” Yunho chuckled quietly. “You’ll be fine. I’ll protect you from the big, mean balloon head.”
Jaejoong sighed moodily. Then to his right, from the corner of his eye, the main menu for the movie popped up. Jaejoong sprang up off the floor as Jaws came onto the screen, the beauty jumped onto the sofa immediately covering his face with a pillow.
“Ok, then.” Yunho laughed slightly. “That was easy.” The dancer strolled into the kitchen.
“HEY!” Jaejoong’s squealing voice called from the living room. “WHERE YOU GONE? GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!”
Yunho chuckled to himself, grabbing a tray and stacking a heap of sweets, cakes, lollies, and some cans onto it. That’ll keep Jaejoong’s mind off of things. Hopefully.
“What’s this? A bribe?” Jaejoong mumbled through the cushion, only his eyes visible over the top of it.
“Maybe.” Yunho sniggered. “Eat up, and enjoy.”
Jaejoong snorted, but grabbed a bar of chocolate quickly, then went back to his ‘safe’ position. Pillow in place, candy in hand, strong, handsome savior next to him. Jaejoong was ready. Yunho sat down into a comfy spot, deciding to open up a packet of Doritos crisps. He pushed the play button on the remote; the eerie music began to play making Jaejoong quiver behind the pillow.
As the music carried on playing in an unnerving way, Yunho watched the other man beside him. Jaejoong bit down on his chocolate hard in one hand, clutching at the cushion with all his strength with the other.
Yunho smiled to himself, Jaejoong looked like a poor kid who was hiding away from the boogeyman under the bed. The dancer then came up with a genius plan. He liked Jaejoong right? Then he would have to make a move.
Yunho shuffled a little to the right, getting closer to Jaejoong. The other man obviously didn’t notice, his face was already buried in the cushion, and Jaws wasn’t even on the screen yet. Yunho could feel a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. He’s so cute.
“Stupid girl!” Jaejoong mumbled behind the cushion, eyes peeking over the top again. “Your fault then! Shouldn’t be swimming there in the first place!”
Yunho bit his lip to stop himself from laughing, Jaejoong, like always, was starting to bitch about the characters on TV. Yunho started thinking about the times when Jaejoong would be like that, straightforward, not afraid to speak his mind.
Like the time when he’d told Yunho exactly what he thought of him, basically, a geek. Or the time when they had gone shopping together, Jaejoong had told the worker that she was picking out dreadful clothes for Yunho, therefore Jaejoong went and choose some himself.
Or he couldn’t forget the time Yunho had taken Jaejoong out to dinner one night to thank him for everything, it wasn’t a long time ago, and the night had ended in tears for some and laughter for the two of them.
Jaejoong had complained about a fire extinguisher. The metal holder had been right next to his seat, every time Jaejoong would move his right arm it would resort to him flinching in pain every now and then.
“Damn thing!” Jaejoong scrunched up his nose in pain, rubbing at his elbow roughly. “That’s it! I’ve had enough!”
Yunho was about to put his fork full of pasta into his mouth, but stopped halfway as Jaejoong stood. This was not good.
“EXCUSE ME!?”
The Italian restaurant’s occupants had Jaejoong’s full attention. The waiter nearest to their table turned to Jaejoong, looking a bit scared at the look of death on the beauty’s face.
“Y-Yes, sir?” The young looking waiter stuttered.
“May I ask you a question?” Jaejoong put on a fake smile, the waiter nodded. “Why in the name of Mary, mother of Jebbers, is there a god damn fire extinguisher right next to my chair?!”
“Er.. Um… I..”
Jaejoong crossed his arms over his chest, waiting patiently for an answer. Meanwhile, Yunho who was sitting there in pure embarrassment put a hand against his forehead, hoping to God nobody recognized him.
“Is there a problem, Sir?”
Yunho took his hand away, the manager walked up to Jaejoong, a very short man, with a moustache and almost no hair left on top of his head.
“Yes, you may.” Jaejoong answered, putting on his best furious face.
“Ah... It’s ok!” Yunho stood; he didn’t want this to turn out like some crazy drama. “He was just... Ah... He’s just a little upset about the fire extinguisher.”
“A little?” Jaejoong snorted.
“Oh.” The manager chortled. “Is that it, Sir? We can remove it right away.”
Jaejoong huffed. “You better do that, or I’ll be suing you for giving me a bruised elbow!” Jaejoong poked the man, hard, in the chest.
Even though Jaejoong thought he didn’t really have that much strength, he was proven wrong as the manager of the restaurant lost his balance and went tumbling backwards. The stout, little man knocked into a passing waiter with a tray full of food.
That waiter lost his balance also, letting the tray fall from his balancing hand and hitting the table next to him with a loud thud. The food went everywhere, covering the four occupants around the table in spaghetti and pizza, their posh clothes all ruined.
The manager and waiter landed in a heap on the floor, the owner’s face beginning to boil in anger. Yunho’s jaw dropped.
Jaejoong bit his lip. “Oopsy.”
Yunho smiled at the memory. He remembered, the manager even forgot about them paying. So, it wasn’t really a bad thing after all.
Yunho also observed the way Jaejoong looked. His skin was pale yet silky smooth, his jet black hair sat perfectly straight, he had a cute button nose, and kissable, soft, plump lips. His eyes were another thing; those dark, chocolate brown eyes could lure anyone in.
“Yunho?”
Yunho snapped out of his thoughts, Jaejoong staring straight at him with those doughy eyes. “Sorry.” Yunho laughed nervously. “It’s just that…”
Yunho was about to make the biggest move of his life. He’d thought about it long enough and he bravely admitted what he’d been thinking for a while now.
“You’re beautiful.”
Jaejoong froze. His eyes locking with Yunho’s in an intense stare. Jaejoong was speechless, something that he’d never been before, nobody had ever made him speechless. It was strange, the feeling he was starting to feel, like wispy butterflies fluttering inside his stomach, like his cheeks were held up against a flame, like his heart was about to explode.
He didn’t know why he was letting Yunho get closer to him either; he was frozen on the spot, his lips just inches away from the dancers. Then it happened. Yunho’s lips were on his. He was kissing him, his hands gently placed on Jaejoong’s rosy cheeks.
Jaejoong was confused, shocked, dizzy, but his eyelids slowly shut. Yunho loved how Jaejoong’s soft lips felt against his; they were perfect, just like the way they looked. It felt so right kissing him, like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Yunho ran his tongue across Jaejoong’s bottom lip, the beautiful man he was kissing parted his lips slowly. But before Yunho could take the kiss further, Jaejoong roughly pushed him away.
Yunho bit his lip nervously, was that the wrong thing to do? Jaejoong sat there, hugging his legs tight to his chest, his eyes directed at the carpeted floor. Yunho was about to apologize, but stopped himself when he heard a small sniff coming from the upset man.
“I-I’m sorry, Yunho.” Jaejoong sobbed lightly. “I-I can’t.”
“Jaejoong..” Yunho spoke in the gentlest tone possible, moving closer to the other man. “What’s wrong? You can tell me. And I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you…”
“No...” Jaejoong sniffed, turning his teary eyes at Yunho. “It’s ok, it’s not you. It’s just… I...” Jaejoong covered his eyes with the palm of his hands. “I’m scared.”
It’s not what Yunho had expected to hear, but he sat there and listened. Jaejoong rubbed his eyes with the sleeve of his warm hoody, feeling like he was about to sound like a complete idiot in front of the dancer.
“I-I’m scared… to lo-like someone.” Jaejoong mumbled quietly. “I know it sounds stupid, but that’s how I feel… I mean… that’s why I’m here, but… when it comes to it… I don’t think I want to fall… fall in love.”
“What do you mean?” Yunho asked, placing his hand lightly on the smaller man’s shoulder.
Jaejoong chuckled slightly. “You don’t even know why I’m here in the first place, do you?”
Yunho smiled charmingly. “Actually, I do. You’re here to find your true love?”
Jaejoong gawped. “How did-”
“Junsu.” Yunho chuckled. “He told me before I even met you. About your psychic friend and everything.”
Jaejoong snorted, always rely on Junsu to blurt everything out into the open. “I just should have stayed at home. Eating non-fat noodles, and drinking ten cups of coffee while watching Desperate Housewives all day.”
Yunho couldn’t help but laugh at that. “See...” Yunho adjusted his sitting position, so that his body was facing the other man. “This is why I... I like you, Jaejoong.”
Jaejoong turned stunned, his sparkling eyes fixed on Yunho. “What did you just say?”
Yunho inhaled a deep breath, fearlessly reaching his hands over to hold the other’s petite hands in his, Yunho was glad that Jaejoong didn’t pull his hands away as he held them soothingly.
“I like you, Jaejoong.” Yunho repeated, this time with a more serious tone. “I’ve been trying to deny it for some time, but I’ve given up, I can’t hide my feelings for you anymore. I realize now, that you mean more to me than a friend.”
“Yunho-”
“No, please let me finish.” Yunho asked with pleading eyes, and Jaejoong listened. “I know why you’re scared, you’ve told me before, of your past boyfriends not treating you well. That you’ve given up trying to find love that you don’t believe in it anymore.”
Yunho gazed at Jaejoong with those meaningful orbs. “You must have come to Seoul if you had a little belief in finding the one, right? Or you wouldn’t have come in the first place.”
Jaejoong looked down at their entwined fingers, finally smiling slightly. “You’ve thought this through, havn’t you?”
Yunho shrugged. “Only for the past… five days, maybe?”
The two laughed quietly, the awkward atmosphere taken away at last. Jaejoong fidgeted on the squashy cushioned sofa, starting to like the feeling of Yunho’s subtle hands holding his smaller ones.
“I guess you’re right.” He finally said. “I guess... I do think that I can find someone... It’s just... That feeling of getting hurt again. I don’t think I could take it.”
“Jaejoong ah...” Yunho smiled lovingly at the beauty sitting beside him. “Forget about that; forget about what happened to you in the past. Isn’t that what you taught me?”
Jaejoong pouted sweetly, and nodded. “Then...” Yunho held Jaejoong’s hands close to his chest. “Will you give this a chance? Will you be mine?”
Jaejoong looked deep into Yunho’s dark but honest eyes, he knew from then on, Yunho would never even think of hurting him like the way those other men had. Maybe Heechul was right after all. Jaejoong’s lips curved into a smile, he leaned forward so that their faces were inches apart.
“I’ll be yours, on one condition.” Jaejoong said softly.
“And what’s that?” Yunho smirked.
Jaejoong leaned in further, the tip of his nose brushing against Yunhos. “Turn that bloody TV off before I have a panic attack.”
Yunho couldn’t keep his laughter in, the dancer chuckled loudly, leaning over the sofa to grab the remote. He switched off the DVD player and television, and turned all his attention back to the man that was now his.
Jaejoong smiled gratefully, glad that the scary animal was finally out of his eyesight.
“So.” Yunho said. “Does this mean that you’re officially mine now?”
Jaejoong puckered out his bottom lips. “Depends.”
Yunho pouted. “What now?”
Jaejoong giggled cutely, plucking up the courage to take a chance at finding the one he was looking for. “You’ve got to kiss me first.”
Yunho chuckled along with the man who had changed his world, his arms snaking their way around Jaejoong’s slim waist gently. Jaejoong put an arm around Yunho’s built shoulder, and used his other hand to plant shy feathery touches down the side of Yunho’s perfect jaw line.
“At least this time we’re not drunk.” Jaejoong whispered as Yunho leaned closer.
Yunho grinned with happiness before he boldly placed his lips on Jaejoong’s, the same feeling as before, rising in his chest. This time he took it further, his tongue sliding between Jaejoong’s plump lips.
This is what it felt like to want someone. This is what it felt like to have that someone. This is what it felt like… to love?
Wooo! Let's all do a YunJae dance! I bet you're all thinking FINALLY! :P
Chap 22
