This was really, really interesting - although, I must admit I was a little thrown off by the start and the fake unicorn and I somehow got it into my head that Jun had a fake unicorn, except no, it wasn't that complicated. But once I finally straightened everything out (and it's me, really, reading this when I'm sleepy), it was cute. And the last line was just the best thing ever.

Mn, I was originally going to make it more clear that Nino didn't trust Jun much because of the prior fake unicorn incident with someone else, but I don't think I pushed that enough. Something to think about if I do some adjustments to this fic later. ♥

you have excellent comic timing and this is just five dozen kinds of wonderful. your brain is certainly a thing of wonder. ALSO IT IS NINO/JUN AM I HAPPY OR WHAAAAAT SRSLY FVSVSDVJ CAN'T. JOY. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything about this is brilliant, sho's world-weary sloping shoulders, aiba's enthusiasm for jun and enthusiasm in general, nino's circus dictatorship and determined professionalism, and prickly paranoia re: theoretical jun mutiny. OHNO'S EXPERIMENT. O-HO. forever hilarious, if a touch disturbing. jun being all 'you can fire me' and nino being skjfsd aaaaaaaaaaah my heart is so happy and joyful and frolicking. and nino singing jun's songs in the shower and jun voice being 'not to everyone's taste' (loooool forever i can relate) and aiba liking WISH and TELLING NINO SO A HUNDRED TIMES.

i am so endlessly pleased by this. AND THE ENDING. FOREVER THE ENDING.

Okay, now I'm going to attempt to leave a proper comment, because short comments are just. I don't know really.

First off, circuses and unicorns, I love them both dearly, you don't even know, so pretty much you had me at "unicorn", but then Nino's the ringmaster, and I'm even more in love. ♥♥♥

I also have a love of the unusual, so it works so nicely~ It could make no sense, and I'd love it.

Ohno the merman also got me good. Writer, I adore you right now! ♥♥♥

I am so, so relieved to hear you enjoyed this! I worried when I took a more crack/lighthearted approach when you mentioned horror and such in your requests. But I couldn't resist magic/fantasy and unicorn, and this was the direction it took. ♥

I really would have loved to go more in-depth with it, so maybe if I can flesh it out some more I will do that and link you. But for now, I'm happy that you liked it! :D

ill be honest: when i read the summary, i thought jun was going to be the unicorn. I DON'T KNOW. but what i do know is that i love it when an author can take an au and put references to real arashi moments and have it fit. and when you mentioned "wish" i played it in my head and I UNDERSTAND WHY A HORSE WOULD RESPOND TO IT. I GET IT. ohno as a merman and aiba as an animal tamer were such fitting roles, and of course it would take a magical creature to bring nino and jun together ♥
