Be assured, anon. This was enjoyable for me. :) I know what my prompt is, but still I like how I wasn't forewarned that there would be fantasy/supernatural elements in this story. Aimiya's childhood and that scene with the frog was so cute! Everything Aiba and Nino in did in that scene was so adorable from Aiba innocently wiping his muddy hands on Nino's face and proving Nino correct to Nino asking to push Aiba into the mud and actually doing it. Then the fantasy/supernatural bits started to trickle in and by the time Nino saw his doctor with wings I just knew and my excitement probably peaked by then. I was intrigued by the mysteriousness around Aiba and didn't expect the twist, which was lovely and made me kyaa a bit (I'm a fan of the series Supernatural :p). I like it, and the fact that Nino's accident wasn't a car accident (which was obvious) but turned out be a possession! Wow

I'm SO GLAD it was enjoyable. Seriously. Just hearing that makes me feel like I did my job properly. Yeah, I chose to not warn for the supernatural because it would have made the bleeding in not feel as natural, so I'm glad that made you happy. And, I am also a fan of Supernatural, so I'm really glad you are as well! 8D

Ahhhh, when I hear my characterization of Nino is spot on, I'm pleased because once again, I aim to please and I'm wanting to do my job properly. I'm really fond of the idea of people as somewhat damaged goods that still carry a smile on their face. Aiba ;A;

It's okay about the references. I don't really think when I include them. I just try to pick the ones best for the situation, and this time around it happened to be them.

I love the ending of this because as you said anon, that's very Nino. "I have some feelings to work out, but ah well SLEEP TIME" ;D

I am so curious about what Aiba was up to, but it's sort of fun to see it from the perspective of Nino, who really has no way of knowing. Elements of this feel very Doctor Who to me - have you ever watched it? Aiba popping in and out like the doctor or something. ANYWAY no need to start rambling on you.

I have watched Doctor Who! Quite a bit, actually. I find I sometimes mix aspects of Doctor Who and Supernatural together, and here I probably have without thinking. Ahh, the fact two people noticed. XD

I love the seemingly normal childhood and then the hints of the supernatural and the explanation of the powers Nino comes to possess. I like that Aiba has returned and that even though Nino apparently has Jun, his return will definitely change things (for the better, I hope!!)

The way I have it in my head, Aiba becomes this person that shows up every so often and eventually internal conflicts for Nino, but the story told me to stop where I did before I went to some crazed place where the ending no longer made sense.

I'm glad you enjoyed this, especially the bleeding in of the supernatural.

and Nino being hurt and reunited with Aiba after so many years is just glorious to me. the supernatural war separated them, but they were brought together by it too.

the glimpse of Matsumiya is also a delight. ♥
