MY FICCCCC! I haven't read it yet, anon, but I am going to as soon as I get home from work, but OH, THE HEADER. I have a feeling I'm going to love this to pieces. ♥

Oh my goodness, where on earth do I start with this? Seriously! You hit so many points that I absolutely love that I cannot even begin! I think I might just make a list, in no particular order: Aiba's driving skills, the failed Sakumoto backstory, crying into the tiniest kiss on the train, TOOOOMAAAAA and the adorable squishy Toma/Jun, and just young!Jun in general you nailed that shit, obviously obviously all of Nino is amazing, Aiba and the sunshine references that were just SO NOT CLICHED and SO PERFECT, the way Aiba makes Nino feel better and Nino makes Aiba feel better, even the tiniest thing like Jun buying Subaru boots, why are all my points about Jun?, but seriously, SERIOUSLY, you're amazing.

I thought, when I started reading, that I was going to be sad that the Aimiya wasn't going to happen, or that it would happen at the expense of some poor girl, but I'm glad that the latter didn't, and it wasn't sad, even though the Aimiya didn't really happen. Though it kind of did, in that nebulous way that they will always be together

also might i suggest that your many points about jun is a result of my HUGE MASSIVE AS THE UNIVERSE jun-bias because i swear i didn't intend at first for him to be this big in this fic but the more i watched/read up about junior-era!arashi, the more i totally fell in love with adolescent jun and his huge smile (juxtaposed with how lost he looked sometimes poor bb). and i can't tell you how much it means to me that you liked the way it ended, and just--everything you said about the ending was exactly the way i meant it to be, so ♥ ♥ GAH. basically: i'm just so glad you enjoyed this. ((((: like i said in the other post, it was great, great fun writing for you.

Junior Jun was the cutest :( :( :( :( I feel like their Junior selves was like some incredibly raw and undiluted versions of what they are now. What they are now is the same, just layered with all the intervening years' experience. They haven't changed, just gotten older, and aslkdf;sdfgklsdfg yeah basically this fic shows that so so well ♥

Oh my Aimiya heart is spoiled by this exchange already, and then you have to add this fic on top of all those fics and I just--/speechless

I think you got me the moment I read the line about Nino having two days left to fall out of it. I thought I'd really cry my eyes out, but that's not really what this fic is all about - and that's incredible.

I love the way you write the characters, the emotions, about the changes physically (my favorite being Aiba having a warm blanket smile) or otherwise. I just love everything about this /immediately memming

This was really amazing. I loved how you wove in all the little stories we've heard them tell on TV, gave them context. All of the teenage Arashi (and grown-up Arashi) dynamics were just so perfectly done. I love everyone listening in on Sho and Nino's conversation. And Aiba's house for retirement. The Sho and Jun that didn't work out, the Aiba and Nino that will always mean so much but just didn't get to happen. Ugh this story was just so great and hit all my angst buttons. There's so much Arashi love in this - I love anything that analyzes Arashi as performers vs. Arashi as the five different people who come together to make it happen no matter what.

This was so well done, one of my favorite non-AUs for Arashi as a group (and for Aimiya) in a long time <3
