I haven't done this in ages..

I'm going to clean up my friends list, and this necessarily means some kicks. Mostly it will be people I haven't heard from in quite a while, or someone who hardly commented, or on whose journal I am not commenting anymore - maybe our interests have diverged too much or there's just no interest, it has all happened before.
Don't take it personally if you have been taken off the list. If you feel that you have been unjustly removed, please comment and I'll add you back asap :)
On the other hand, this is the perfect opportunity for you to defriend me if you want to. No hard feelings, no flames.
