So my 2D Design class is going pretty well. I'll share with you all the thing that has kept me from having a healthy sleep schedule the past two weeks. We were suppose to take a b&w photograph with a simple figure and ground, make a grid, and paint the image onto a canvas. Then do the same thing with complementary color, and then again with whatever you wanted. I didn't use a grid because I am lazy, and you know, haughty. Yup.
I just quickly, with a pencil, drew a very skethy outline of the photograph onto the board.
Paint. Paint. Paint.
More painting. Lots of consideration. Hey, you could see my pj pants! <3333. The majority of my work was done in the hours of 11PM-7AM, but mostly because, when at home, I work better in those hours. I don't know why. *night owl :o*
The yellow/violet one is my favorite. In fact, it might be my new favorite color scheme. Woah. And it's totally the lighting, you guys, but the blue-ish one is the b&w one. -sigh-
And the complementary one, which is my least favorite, and which, in some other morning far from now, I'll attempt to fix.
I think overall it was around 15 hours of work.
