so i've felt like absolute crap for the last few days. having sinus problems sucks big monkey behind. when my nose isn't running my head is hurting, when my head isn't hurting, ricky williams is retiring.
----waitaminute.....ricky williams retired? isn't he like 25?(i'm not sure) so the reason that's being given is that he played football to please everyone else. so now he can do all those things he's been holding back on.....like his marijuana habit that he had to cover up. so the poor dolphins get to lose williams, and miss out on a shot at eddie george or antowain smith. sucks to be the fish i guess.
-----i watched the 3rd game of the red sox / yankees series tonight. man was i happy that the yankees lost. i'm not really a sox fan, but boy do i hate the evil empire. they made a comment tonight about how like 10 of the yankees were all stars. really? since most of them were all stars or mvp's before they were yankees that's no surprise.
-----lance armstrong won his record 6th tour de france. congrats to him. i wear one of his livestrong wristbands that support cancer research, and it seems like a lot of famous people are also sporting them. having a cancer survivor for a parent really makes me want everyone to support this cause. go to nike.com and get one today! they only cast a buck, and i think shipping is free! order a bunch and make all of your friends wear them too.
------ espn nfl 2k5 just came out wednesday at the low low price of $19.95. it's available on xbox and ps2! this game is all sorts of cool. it has first person camera, which is worth trying the game for all alone. in the franchise mode, you get to try to reach certain goals, and keep your guys healthy and motivated for the following week. this year's version is more in depth than last year's. if you liked espn nfl 2k4 you'll love 2k5--and it only costs $20 brand new!!! i'm curious to see how madden sells at it's suggested $50 price tag with this game already out for a month!
