BJJ Learning: Side Control Gi Chokes

If gi is loose . .

1. Drape lapel over top of throat and grab with thumb up. Rotate to North-South position while rotating elbow inward to use ulna side of forewarm to choke.
2. Papercutter: Feed lapel under neck with pinky up (thumb at bottom of lapel). Wrap elbow out and around head to choke with ulna side again (but is on other side of their neck).
