Step just a little bit to the dangerous side while pressing down with the trapped arm thereby rolling one's opponent's hips to their side. One will need to rotate one's trapped arm's elbow outward in order to press one's bottom forearm against the opponent's thigh. Once in position, use the free arm to push the opponent's foot and ankle off one's forearm, clearing enough space to rotate one's hand out of the trap. Once one's hand is clear, use it and the other hand to continue pressing the opponent's foot and ankle to break the grip entirely.
