Wonder and amazement
A coworker, originally from Bangladesh, who has been living and working in LA for the past 10 years, joined our company last summer.
This morning was the first time that she had ever seen snow. Just the wonder, amazement, and sheer joy that she had... I likened it to the combination of both a child and a puppy seeing snow for the very first time.
I know that it doesn't seem like much to get excited about, but it was a special moment.
