I better have enough YARN
or at least something that's going to go with this yarn because if not I'm going to be REALLY MAD!
I'm about 2.5 hours into another blanket. I bought this mulit-color yarn along with another color roll that matched well. Thinking I could use both in a blanket. Same brand of yarn just different colors.
Well it didn't take long for me to figure out that the mulit-color yarn was thicker then the solid color yarn. So much thicker in fact if I use the other yarn I'm pretty sure it will warp the blanket. I think to myself...
"Well maybe since the yarn is thicker I will be able to get at least one solid blanket done in it."
and keep on hookin'.
KNOWING that if the yarn is thicker yeah it might work up faster but the yarn will also run out faster....
yet I kept HOOKING!!!
I got it 10 inches round at this point and I bet anything it makes up to 18-19 inches round. If I am LUCKY maybe it will work up to 20 inches. They want 24 inch blankets after all.
Then I'm going to have to go looking though all the scrap yarn in hopes of finding a thick baby yarn that will match up well.....
If it comes down to it I'm going to have to use two strands of thinner baby yarn to finish the end.
Yeah okay that should work.
