Violet just about gave me a heart attack....

I'll take it as a sign I gotta make a post regarding Ultra-V, it's been on my "list".
A couple of weeks ago Violet came in and said that Kurt Warner and some ladies from his foundation where in the hosptial she works at handing out yarn. There is a sick lady in the hosptial (Violet said it really doesn't look good for her) who crochets outfits for babies. They gave her yarn as well as handed out yarn to hospital workers who could crochet and/or knit. Violet picked up a few. She asked me if I would help.
"Of course!"
"They are making normal size baby outfits Melanie."
"Yeah yeah okay."
Well I started working on a blanket to give her but that has been left unfinished for almost 2 weeks now. I hope Violet doesn't read this until after I finally finish it.
Last week I was working on that baby blanket for Brian. I went to the baby shower yesterday with no gift. I had a bunch of it made up then realized I had messed up the last 7 rows, a big mistake!! I thought for a second I should take a photo of it just to show Raquel how I really can mess up. I was too mad about the fact I was going to have to pull out 4 hours of work!!! **twitch**
Brian said it was okay when I told him I didn't finish the blanket and reminded me his other son was almost 6 months old by the time he got his "baby" blanket. Urk!
But Violet if you read this do not fear. I'll start cranking out the outfits and Blankets! Normal size baby blankets just for you to hand over. I just gotta finish this blanket for Brian. Violet says they are coming to pick up the stuff on the....ummm...21st of October I think. Plenty of time.
