(no subject)
I'm having a hard time going though all the photos I've taken since the Net was down! I hate the program that my camera runs and have no idea how to change it! Either way...
I'll start from the most recent and go back.
Friday was "crazy hair day" at school.
Maria was most happy to help Anthony get ready.
Crazy how much she looks like V in this photo!
Friday before that I got on teaching Maria how to single crochet. I did do the first row but only because we didn't have much time and I figured it would be better if she just learned how to make the stitch without having to deal with making it into the chain. She did really well. I wish I had a larger hook for her.
D got married!!!!

The last night I saw him at work before the wedding he was coming in from just buying his wedding ring. He said they almost forgot about it so I asked what he would have used if they hadn't remembered, band-aid or lifesaver? I'd go with the lifesaver.
Then he put the wedding ring on his left hand and said he was going to wear it so he can get "used to the weight of it"
I told him he doesn't have to get used to the weight and to take it off because he wasn't married yet. "You can't wear that ring! Put it on your right hand."
Vanessa confirmed it was messed up to wear it so he took it off. He's so funny.
They are Mormon so we didn't get to SEE the wedding, it was more of a reception really but they call it the wedding then had the reception a week later in Califorina. Vanessa, Raquel and I where the only people from work who went. It was cute. Raquel and I tore up the sandwiches. YUMM!
I came home that night and had package waiting for me.
Came with a $40 gift card for JoAnne's. I cried. They also sent a pattern book that made me really happy because it was Blankets and Booties book 2. Mom had given me book 1 but that was lost with the car.
I ran to JoAnne's ASAP and got Book 1, ribbons and Yarn. I also got a pound of white for blocks for soapfaerie's drive.
leftygirl02 also sent some patterns....umm...I'm getting the username right aren't I?
Yay!
We FINALLY got the check from the insurance place though it's not going to clear for a week. They paid us more then the car was worth plus sales tax! We're not going to get back with Channel 12 since they did the right thing. I wish they hadn't taken so LONG but I've been making friends on the bus so it's been okay.
