I went into work early last night. Colton was there, Colton is too funny. He's our Boss's son, college student about 19. He sees me and tells me how I'm going to be so proud of him. He said he just finished his first batch of Jerky! He loved the jerky I got a took in to share and after Vanessa took in her batch he went out and bought a dehydrator.
He said he had to buy his roomate a birthday present, bought the dehydrator and gave it as a gift so he (COLTEN) could use it. Scandalous!
I asked what's up then with the jerky? He said he had started it before he went into work but his roomate called and said it was AWESOME. He said
"I can imagine how much money I saved not buying jerky that was pre-jerked!"
Took me about 5 minutes to stop laughing. He is such a dork!
Now Raquel..
When she first finished her spiderman blanket I asked her what her mom thought of it. She had said she hadn't had a chance to show her yet. Last night I asked her if she showed her yet and she looked so happy.
She stood up and put her right hand up in the air like she was getting sworn in and told us that in her entire life her Mom had never told her she was proud of her until she saw that blanket!
That was cool.
Now I must get ready, Violet and the kids are going to come over. Knowing Ultra-V she will be bringing pretties to post later!
