Halloween is... um, a festival of the dead. I don't really know its history, though. But I remember hearing something that long ago - people wear scary stuff on Halloween to disguise themselves as a spirit in order to prevent harm.

Though now, it's really just a children's holiday or celebration. There's games and costume parties... and trick-or-treating!

A festival of the dead, hm? Interesting. [Is that why we're wearing these clothes now?]

Did the times really change it that much?

Yes... The culture is very much different from long ago and today... At least, where I'm from.

Though, I guess it can't be far from other worlds' as well, because of development.

Yes. As long ago, people doesn't have that much technology. But because of development, we could have things like phones or computers.

I guess that long ago, they'd have the weirdest imagination... Though now, people are more inclined to scientific explanations rather than creativity.

Aah, I see. Coming from someone who has yet to see such technology, I do wonder how my world would be like if it were like this.

Well... I'm sure you guys had your own traditions or holidays?

Hm, now that I think of it, I wonder if Vatheon have their own unique ones as well...

We have a few, yes. [but sidestepping that to focus on Vatheon] Considering they have a rather prominent church, I would think so. Has there never been a tradition or holiday held here yet?

I've been here for... four months now. I haven't really encountered any holiday yet. This would be the first.

Still, I'm surprised Vatheon knows about Halloween, or even the fact that a number of other worlds know it as well.

Four months, hm? Either you haven't the right time, or this world is truly lacking in holidays. [How strange. One would think they would have had at least one before now.]

An interesting thought...perhaps some worlds are more similar than we may realize.

Yes. All that's happened the past months were a bit of chaotic events. The break in at the church, a fire at the church...
